Job summary

LLFlex in Louisville, KY is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage weekly and biweekly payrolls, maintain time and attendance, and lead open enrollment. This on-site role collaborates with Finance, Safety, Operations, and vendors to ensure accurate pay and comprehensive benefits support for a multi-state manufacturing workforce.

The Specialist II position emphasizes process improvements and compliance, with responsibilities spanning payroll, benefits, leaves, pensions, and HRIS

Qualifications

• An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll experience, including hourly and shift-based employees.
• 1-3 years of benefits administration experience.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll in Paycor or ADP.
• Experience with at least one payroll or HRIS implementation or conversion.
• Experience with workers' compensation audits and payroll reporting for Finance and Safety.
• Knowledge of FLSA, wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and FMLA.
• Excel proficiency with functions like XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payrolls for hourly and salaried employees from start to finish in Paycor, meeting deadlines.
• Maintain time and attendance, accruals, PTO, holidays, and timekeeping policies.
• Lead annual open enrollment and administer benefits across medical, dental, vision, life, and retirement plans.
• Coordinate leave processes including FMLA and continue benefits during leave.
• Support pension plan data, 401(k) administration, and HRIS-related projects.
• Serve as primary Paycor contact and assist with payroll audits and reporting.
