Job summary

Magnitude 7 Metals, LLC is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to support the administration of employee payroll and benefits, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee information. You will assist with payroll preparation, benefits enrollment, leave administration, reporting, and respond to employee questions related to pay and benefits.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with HR and other departments to maintain compliant payroll and benefits

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience in HR, Payroll, Accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience in payroll/benefits processes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy required.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing and reviewing payroll information.
• Maintain employee payroll, benefits, deduction, and personnel records.
• Support enrollment and changes for health insurance and retirement plans.
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and benefits.
• Assist with new-hire benefit enrollment and employee benefit changes.
• Review payroll and benefits information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Coordinate employee status, compensation, deduction, and benefit changes with appropriate departments.
• Assist with leave, timekeeping, and attendance-related records as applicable.
• Prepare payroll and benefits reports, documentation, and correspondence.
• Maintain confidential employee and payroll records.
• Support compliance with applicable payroll, benefits, tax, and employment requirements.
• Assist with benefit enrollment periods and employee communications.
• Coordinate with benefit providers and other external partners as needed.
• Perform other payroll, benefits, and HR-related duties as assigned.
