• Minimum 1 year in Payroll or Accounting related job with multi-state processing.
• Payroll compliance knowledge and regulatory background preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PDF applications (Adobe/Bluebeam).
• Strong organization, detail orientation, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, input and review payroll data across multiple locations for weekly and bi-weekly processing.
• Reconcile payroll data prior to transmission and ensure timely, accurate pay.
• Prepare reports weekly, quarterly and annually as requested.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Build relationships with field personnel, HR and Employee Services for payroll reporting.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll guidance to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Research and answer questions from customers on payroll related matters.
• Assist with processing of accurate and timely W2s and year-end reporting.
• Assist team members on payroll tasks and projects; perform other duties as assigned.
