Bay Shore Staffing in Hingham, MA is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Associate to join our HR team in a temp-to-perm role. You will own bi-weekly payroll processing, administer benefits, and ensure data integrity in ADP Workforce Now.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in payroll, strong Excel skills, and a careful approach to confidentiality and regulatory compliance, with experience handling FMLA and PFML in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll administration experience.
• Experience independently processing payroll and benefits.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, wage and hour requirements, and leave-related payroll practices.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own and process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
• Audit and reconcile payroll, timekeeping records, deductions, accruals, and adjustments.
• Process new hires, terminations, salary changes, status changes, direct deposits, garnishments, tax changes, retroactive payments, and corrections.
• Serve as a primary resource for employee and manager payroll questions.
• Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, EAP, and 403(b) retirement plans.
