Job summary

Esquire Law Services seeks a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our Human Resources team in Florida. You will manage bi-weekly payroll processing for a multi-state workforce, administer benefits enrollments, and support open enrollment and leave administration.

You’ll work with HRIS data, ensure compliance, and provide excellent employee service in a fast-paced environment. This role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative culture within a growing national

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll, benefits, HR, or related experience.
• Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Multi-state payroll experience is a plus (Paychex experience a plus).
• Benefits administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing for a multi-state workforce.
• Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Process employee status changes, compensation updates, and deductions.
• Administer employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Coordinate open enrollment activities and employee communications.
• Assist with 401(k), COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and leave administration.
• Reconcile payroll and benefit invoices.
• Respond to employee questions regarding pay, benefits, and HR policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Partner with HR leadership on process improvements and special projects.
