Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional coursework or training in accounting, payroll, human resources, or benefits administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process accurate district payroll according to procedures and laws.
• Review time records and supporting documentation for all district employees.
• Calculate wages, salaries, hours, overtime, deductions, and net pay.
• Process payroll changes (hires, changes, leave, terminations).
• Administer district employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life).
• Prepare payroll and benefits reports and maintain documentation.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
