Job summary

MediLodge of Campus Area in East Lansing, MI is seeking a Payroll Benefits Coordinator to manage payroll administration and benefit eligibility for residents and staff.

The role emphasizes payroll accuracy, compliance with federal/state rules, and coordination of benefit programs. The position includes medical/dental/vision coverage, 401K, and flexible pay options with UKG Wallet for daily, weekly, or bi-weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, college level courses in accounting or business preferred.
• Two years’ experience in payroll or human resources.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll in accordance with federal/state/facility/regional pay guidelines.
• Ensure that pay practices are documented and merit increases are timely.
• Maintain HRIS with accurate employee information including SSN, job title and FLSA status.
• Post state and federal posters in appropriate locations.
• Review time and attendance reports for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Provide backups to SDC for WOTC compliance and to HR Coordinator as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
