About You and the Role
At Humani, we are a team of modern-thinking HR professionals. The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will provide payroll and benefits administration support to a diverse range of clients across various jurisdictions and industries in the United States. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, enabling them to develop and implement tailored solutions for complex payroll issues across multiple platforms, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative requirements across different jurisdictions. You will bring exceptional attention to detail, outstanding written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and data analysis capabilities are essential for this role.
You thrive in environments where you don’t know the answer but are willing to do the work and figure it out. You enjoy payroll and benefits administration as well as creating HR policies and programs from the ground up and working in a fast-paced and changing environment. You find joy in meaningful work and delivering excellent client results. You are an excellent record keeper and have an in-depth knowledge of tax and payroll regulations across multiple jurisdictions. At Humani, no two days are the same. We are looking for a Tampa, Florida-based, Austin, Texas-based or Nashville, Tennessee-based Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our team. This position is primarily remote, with some onsite (up to 5%) support at various client sites. As such, local and international travel may be required from time to time based on business needs.
