Job summary

Wintergreen Resort in Virginia seeks a Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead payroll processing and employee benefits administration. The role requires strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently within a high-volume HR environment.

You will manage benefits enrollment, compliance, and payroll through Paycom, while supporting open enrollment, ACA/ERISA compliance, and employee communications. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll and benefits administration.
• Strong Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint and HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, COBRA, 401(k)).
• Manage benefit eligibility, enrollments, life events, terminations, deductions, and communications.
• Assist employees with benefits questions and coverage understanding.
• Coordinate with benefit carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
• Support annual benefit renewals and Open Enrollment; ensure ACA/ERISA/ COBRA compliance.
• Prepare and process biweekly payroll through Paycom; maintain payroll accuracy.
• Maintain inter-office SharePoint for HR information and resources.
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, compliance, and special projects.
