Care Initiatives in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Benefits & Payroll Manager to join our administrative team. In this full-time role, you will oversee payroll processing, administer benefits, and ensure compliance with payroll regulations while supporting onboarding and records management.

You will work with our skilled nursing communities across Iowa, partnering with HR and finance to produce accurate reports, manage labor tracking, and contribute to a positive employee experience through

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s in business or related field preferred.
• Experience with payroll, record keeping, and administrative tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing and ensure pay accuracy.
• Administer employee benefits and provide team member support.
• Ensure compliance with payroll and employment regulations.
• Assist with onboarding, payroll setup, and employee records.
• Prepare reports and assist with labor tracking, audits, and payroll reconciliation.
