Job summary

Cedar River Healthcare Center is seeking an organized HR/Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This role supports daily HR and payroll functions while helping create a positive experience for our employees.

Responsibilities include processing payroll, reviewing timecards, maintaining records, onboarding, benefits enrollment, and compliance with applicable regulations. You will also provide general administrative support to leadership and protect confidential information.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll, human resources, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time
• Review employee timecards and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain employee records and personnel files
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, and new-hire paperwork
• Support benefits enrollment and employee status changes
• Track attendance, leave requests, and required documentation
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies
• Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations
• Provide general administrative support to the leadership team
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
