Job summary

Baldwin Supply Company is seeking a Payroll, Benefits, and Leave of Absence Specialist to oversee multi-state payroll, benefits programs, and leave processes. This onsite role reports to the HR Director and supports compliance with FMLA and Minnesota Paid Leave while working with finance and providers to ensure accurate, timely processing.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in payroll and benefits administration, familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Multi-state payroll experience required.
• Experience with FMLA, ADA, and state leave programs required.
• Bachelors degree preferred; associate's required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees and monthly commission payroll.
• Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, EAP).
• Manage all leave of absence programs (FMLA, MNPL, ADA, other leaves).
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws; prepare reports and audits as needed.
• Maintain HRIS data and confidential employee records.
