DCM Services, LLC in Bloomington, MN is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our multi-state team. You’ll work with a mentor to master payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems while supporting 550+ employees.

Responsibilities span payroll operations and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with wage laws, accurate deductions, and timely reporting. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and a degree in Business or HR.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of payroll administration experience.
• Solid understanding of payroll fundamentals and wage & hour regulations.
• Experience with HRIS platforms (Paylocity a plus).
• Advanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for multi-state operations, including salaries, bonuses, benefits deductions, garnishments, and taxes.
• Manage payroll updates for new hires, terminations, and pay changes with precision and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare payroll reports and support internal and external audits.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
• Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions.
• Verify insurance billing and maintain accurate benefits records.
• Support open enrollment processes and benefits communication.
• Process benefits changes in the HRIS system for seamless payroll integration.
• Help prepare required benefits notices and compliance reporting.
