Job summary

The Payroll, Benefits & HRIS Manager at Creative Financial Staffing, LLC leads day-to-day payroll and benefits administration for a diverse workforce in a mission-driven educational organization. You will manage multiple pay schedules, leave programs, and HRIS records while partnering with the Business Office on budgeting and reporting.

This hands-on role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and strong service orientation as you support employees and leadership with payroll and benefits questions

Qualifications

• Strong payroll processing experience with multiple pay frequencies.
• Benefits administration including Open Enrollment.
• Knowledge of FMLA, OFLA, and Paid Leave Oregon.
• Experience with HRIS and maintaining accurate employee records.
• Detail-oriented with payroll accuracy.
• Ability to partner with accounting and budgeting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Discretion handling confidential payroll, benefits, and employee information.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees on monthly and semi-monthly schedules.
• Administer additional compensation programs (stipends, supplements).
• Manage employee leave programs (OFLA, FMLA, Paid Leave Oregon).
• Coordinate annual Open Enrollment and benefits changes.
• Serve as primary contact for payroll and benefits questions.
• Partner with Business Office to process benefits invoices and payments.
• Coordinate payroll information with accounting for GL allocations.
• Assist with payroll and benefits budgeting.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive information.
