The successful candidate will handle timecard reviews, onboarding, payroll taxes, garnishments, and benefit reconciliations while maintaining confidentiality and meeting strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience and familiarity with in-house payroll processes.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies in HR and payroll context.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for two companies and prepare payroll reporting.
• Process union payroll, reimbursements, and monthly union dues/fringes reports.
• Review timecard entries and resolve discrepancies.
• Onboard new hires, maintain personnel files, and process terminations.
• Prepare and explain benefit packages for new enrollees; liaison for benefit questions.
