Everstand is seeking an Accountant Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our finance team. You will manage payroll processing, healthcare benefits, retirement programs, bonuses, and coordinate with the health insurance broker to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will also participate in ad-hoc finance projects, enhance reporting, and maintain strict confidentiality while supporting Everstand’s mission to serve youth and families across the Mid-Atlantic.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and financial reporting.
• Experience with payroll and financial software; ADP and Sage preferred.
• Experience with 403(b) retirement plans and employee benefits preferred.

Mansioni

• Accurately process payroll to ensure timely and compliant compensation.
• Administer healthcare plans, benefits, and retirement programs.
• Collaborate with HR and finance to resolve payroll discrepancies and improve processes.
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries (SAGE GL, cost centers, grants).
• Support health insurance broker with plan inquiries and enrollment.
• Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and reporting while maintaining confidentiality.
