Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible payroll experience.
• Experience administering employee benefit programs.
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles.
• Experience reconciling payroll and benefit-related accounts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Preferred CPP/CEBS or SHRM certifications; ADP Experience.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees and ensure accurate compensation and deductions.
• Administer employee benefit programs and coordinate enrollments and term changes.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related GL accounts.
• Ensure compliance with IRS, FLSA, ACA, and wage-and-hour laws.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance on onboarding, leaves, and compensation changes.
• Prepare payroll and benefit cost analyses and support audits and reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide superior service to employees.
