Qualifications

• Three (3) years of payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Book or electronically file payroll adjustments, payroll reports, adjunct/overload sheets, and stipend documents; file and/or create electronic payroll records for employee payroll files; create and maintain electronic payroll registers for records management/retention files.
• Time stamp, separate, and distribute payroll documents to appropriate staff; assist in balancing, verifying, calculating actual payrolls; inputting payroll data and generating payroll reports; assist in entering employee information into Colleague.
• Engage in written and/or oral communication with employees, department personnel, and outside vendors; answer payroll questions via telephone; direct walk-ins to appropriate area to answer questions and/or concerns; create documents, make copies, fax documents; and respond to payroll e-mails; pick up and drop off department mail.
• Assist Payroll staff with other department duties and deadlines. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
