Job summary

Qualifications

• General office skills including answering calls, taking messages, faxing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to complete clerical duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to be responsible, accountable, dependable, patient and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scheduled office hours and assist with daily office operations.
• Answer phones, take messages, transfer calls.
• Check mail daily, process and distribute mail and other documents within the department.
• Schedule advising appointments.
• Assist Physics Department Staff and Instructors with special office projects.
