Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Payroll / Accounts Payable Disbursement Specialist to ensure accurate, timely disbursement of payroll and AP payments. You will coordinate payment processing, uphold disbursement controls, and ensure SOX compliance while supporting audits and vendor interactions.

The role requires 5–7 years of related experience and a degree in accounting/finance/business. Salary ranges are provided, and the position is based in the United States with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required.
• 5–7 years of payroll / accounts payable and vendor disbursement experience preferred.
• Payroll FPC or IOFM certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll corrections and assist with payroll audits and timecard verification.
• Handle weekly payroll/vendor disbursements including checks, ACH, and pay cards.
• Back up bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll processing.
• Respond to salary inquiries, garnishments, and employment verifications in a timely manner.
• Assist with 1099 year-end processing and vendor interface in Workday.
