Socket.dev in Vancouver, WA is seeking an Accountant II who will manage payroll and accounts payable, partnering with Finance and operations to communicate results and address issues. This role supports month-end close and GAAP-compliant reporting.

You will reconcile general ledger accounts, maintain vendor relations, and help implement process improvements and ERP optimizations. Strong Excel and payroll software experience (ADP preferred) are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Accounting, HR or related field.
• Detail-oriented, organized, thorough and committed to meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Office in general).
• Proficient in Payroll Processing Software (ADP Preferred).
• Solid people and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and related reconciliations.
• Process invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and vendor payments.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and support month-end close.
• Communicate financial information and reconciliation results to managers.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Support process improvement and ERP optimization initiatives.
