Join our team of human resources professionals! We are hiring a Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) to become part of our dynamic team at the California Department of Education. The Human Resources Division provides excellent customer service to support the department's goal of providing world-class education for all students.
The Payroll and Benefits Analyst, under the direction of the Payroll and Benefits Manager, Staff Services Manager I, will advise on and process transactions related to benefits, leave accounting, disability leave, and account receivables. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, consulting on personnel matters, reviewing agency letters, and developing policies and procedures.

HYBRID: This position is based in Sacramento and may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for eligible California residents, involving remote work and on-site reporting.
Refer to the Class Specification for detailed requirements. Candidates must meet the qualifications for ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST or STAFF SERVICES ANALYST.
