Responsibilities
  • This is a remote opportunity.
  • Support the overall service delivery activities for the People Connections Benefits Administration Health and Welfare work stream for the 2nd largest non-profit health system in the US. Support employee benefits for over 150,000 employees and 25,000 providers across 21 states.
  • Provide analytical support for the Health and Welfare plans, working with benefit outsourced providers on plan administration, operational matters, and employee inquiries.
  • Perform complex administrative and coordination activities, produce and audit reports, review benefit eligibility issues, and support organization readiness and implementation phases.
  • Serve as primary contact for benefit vendors and internal partners regarding Health & Welfare plans.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal partners, third-party vendors, and participants, consulting with senior staff as needed.
  • Analyze data, identify issues through audits, and communicate effectively to resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and process changes with payroll and vendors, and assist in developing and implementing new plan initiatives.
  • Assist in creating and editing Health and Welfare communications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or at least five years of relevant experience in employee Health and Welfare plans, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and broad knowledge of Health and Welfare plans, with at least two years of experience in benefits.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and financial skills with data manipulation expertise.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Effective teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, MS Excel, HRIS, and health and welfare administration programs.
Pay Range

$29.16 - $42.28 per hour
