Job summary

ESPEC North America, Inc. seeks an ERP Administrator to oversee ERP systems, troubleshoot, and manage user access, data integrity, and reports.

You will partner with IT to implement processes, train users, and support system development and change management initiatives. The role requires 1–2 years of ERP/database admin experience, familiarity with NetSuite, and ability to travel between Michigan and Colorado.

Requirements
Summary

Oversees the performance of ERP systems, troubleshooting and resolving problems related to hardware, software, user access, and other technical aspects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists with database updates, data maintenance and data integrity.
  • Performs essential administrative duties, such as creating and managing user accounts, generating reports and dashboards, configuring workflows, and handling other routine administrative tasks.
  • Partners with ENA management to create and implement efficient processes for administrative tasks, system development, and change management initiatives.
  • Provides training for new software features, enhancements, and functions.
  • Collaborates with and provides guidance to members of the IT team on various projects.
  • Assists in meeting strategic goals of the IT Department.
  • Leads discussions with stakeholders to identify and clarify ERP problems, and to collect detailed requirements for resolving the issues.
  • Takes ownership of ERP application projects, ensuring their successful completion within specified timelines.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define requirements and understand system impacts.
  • Responds to user inquiries, identifies and resolves issues, and introduces new or enhanced processes.
  • Works with other departments to determine needs and assess the effects of changes on related systems.
  • Develops functional and high-level technical design documents for new business requirements.
  • Adapts and deploys QA modifications to the ERP system to accommodate current and future business needs, overseeing the testing process, which involves creating test plans, designing test cases, and establishing testing protocols and environments.
  • Identifies internal requirements and development of systems that improves ERP productivity and enforces corporate policies and procedures.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert on ERP reporting tools.
  • Monitors end-user usage of systems and tracks application performance.
  • Coordinates and maintains system controls for the ERP and other assigned systems.
  • Provides user support for all aspects of the company’s core systems, including report/saved search development, configuration, workflow, reporting, script development, training, etc.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of ERP functionality and ERP enhancements/upgrades.
  • Provides on-going post implementation support to optimize user adoption and ERP configuration.
  • Supports the analysis and efforts of ongoing system modifications or enhancements while implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity and compliance with controls.
  • Maintains process mapping and requirements for business functions related to ERP configuration.
  • Develops and implements improvements to processes and procedures related to ERP.
  • Ensures business and functional requirements are properly configured in the ERP.
  • Develops efficient interfaces to other business applications.
  • Administers and monitors ERP system security in accordance with the company's policy.
  • Maintains proper system access for all roles.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Regular physical attendance is required.

Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field preferred.
Skills and Experience
  • 1-2 years of ERP and/or database administration preferred.
  • Some travel required between MI and CO.
  • Previous experience using NetSuite ERP system preferred.
