Job summary

Cvent is seeking a bright Payroll Analyst II for our Dallas, TX office. The role focuses on maintaining, managing, and directing the employee payroll function in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow accounting skills. This position reports to the Director of Payroll.

You will handle everyday payroll tasks, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with Accounting, HR, and Data Processing teams to support accurate payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office proficiency and strong Excel skills.
• 6+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Streamline.
• Experience with Workday is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payroll.
• Assist with preparing reports summarizing payroll, profit sharing, deductions, and withholdings.
• Provide payroll information and assistance; ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Research variances in past pay cycles, garnishments, and audit questions.
• Ensure reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet accounts and ledgers.
• Participate in implementing new payroll reporting and analysis systems and policies.
• Coordinate payroll with Accounting, Data Processing, and HR.
• Create payroll general ledger entries.
