Dallas County is seeking a Payroll Analyst to perform limited fiscal and contractual audits of payroll records across departments and grants, and to assist in preparing reports.

The role analyzes payroll budgets and transactions, ensures proper posting, and supports interims and annual statements. Strong communication and accurate records are essential, with a Texas driver’s license and clean driving history required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• One year of related work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzes payroll budgets, expenditures and revenues and initiates account adjustments.
• Reviews and audits payroll transactions, budgets, records and reports for compliance with contracts, grants and laws.
• Provides payroll information and assistance to departments and helps with interim/annual statement preparation.
• Performs account reconciliation.
• May provide operational guidance to other payroll staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
