Job summary

Garver seeks a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our Finance Team in Dallas, TX. You will support a wide range of payroll functions in collaboration with the Corporate Payroll Manager and Finance Team.

Requirements include 2+ years of payroll experience, multi-state processing, FPC/CPP, ADP certification, and HIPAA training. You will maintain confidentiality, reconcile data, and prepare reports to support employee experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience.
• FPC or CPP certification preferred.
• ADP Payroll Certification or equivalent.
• HIPAA compliance training completed.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Publisher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll using ADP with high accuracy.
• Enter and reconcile payroll data in HRIS and spreadsheets.
• Monitor payroll inbox and respond to inquiries the same day.
• Communicate professionally to support employee experience.
• Administer wage garnishments per legal requirements.
• Maintain payroll records for every cycle.
• Ensure compliance with state and local tax filing.
• Audit payroll withholding and ACA reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Assist audits and special payroll projects as needed.
