Job summary

CLA is seeking a Payroll Processing Analyst (Payroll Analyst II) to join our HR Systems & Payroll team in Phoenix. The role handles a wide range of payroll responsibilities, including administration, distribution, and record-keeping for our valued clients.

You will input, verify, and transmit payroll data, update the system for hires, terminations, and salary changes, and prepare quarterly payroll tax reports. ADP experience is preferred. CLA offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of payroll experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationship with clients.
• Input, verify and transmit payroll data for clients.
• Update the payroll system for new hires, terminations, salary changes, department changes or any other pertinent payroll information received.
• Prepare quarterly payroll tax reports as needed.
• Complete mortgage and SUI verifications, as requested.
• Assist with workers' compensation audits, preparation of employee census data, upload retirement plan contribution data, respond to tax notices as necessary.
• Process bonus payments and other special payrolls upon request.
