Job summary

CLA is seeking a Payroll Processing Analyst II to join our HR Systems & Payroll (HRSP) team. The role involves handling a broad range of payroll responsibilities for valued clients, including data entry, verification, and distribution.

Key duties include updating payroll records, preparing quarterly payroll tax reports, and supporting audits and special payrolls. A strong foundation in Excel and payroll software is required, with ADP experience preferred. This is an on-site role in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of payroll experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with payroll software; ADP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationship with clients.
• Input, verify and transmit payroll data for clients.
• Update the payroll system for new hires, terminations, salary changes or other payroll changes.
• Prepare quarterly payroll tax reports as needed.
• Complete mortgage and SUI verifications, as requested.
• Assist with workers' compensation audits and payroll census data.
• Process bonus payments and other special payrolls upon request.
