Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
• Knowledge of construction job costing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather and input data from office, field, and plants.
• Process weekly payroll using manual time sheets and automated data.
• Balance hours and resolve discrepancies in the payroll process.
• Prepare paper payroll checks and uploads for direct deposits and positive pay items.
• Audit and maintain employee and payroll data.
• Process garnishments and deductions impacting pay.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned for GSI Management.
