Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll Administrator in Pittsburgh, PA to support day-to-day payroll operations and employee data management. The role backs up the Payroll Specialist and handles US, Canadian, and UK payroll processing in a hybrid environment after training.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of payroll experience, knowledge of multi-state payroll, and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Concur. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of payroll experience preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • General knowledge of multi-state payroll, employment regulations, and income tax laws.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Enter new hires, terminations, and employee changes into payroll, timekeeping, expense management, and other systems.
  • Review timesheets and assist with identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Support U.S., Canadian, and U.K. payroll processing and serve as backup to the Payroll Specialist.
  • Assist with benefit vendor file feeds and ensure accurate payroll deductions.
  • Process unemployment notices, tax withholding, child support orders, and other garnishments.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly payroll reports to Finance, Human Resources, and department leaders.
  • Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation while ensuring confidentiality of employee information.
  • Support the corporate credit card program and assist with employee setup and issue resolution in Concur.

About the Role
