Valero Service, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing. You will support employees, maintain records, and help keep financial operations compliant.

The role requires 2+ years of accounting/payroll experience, familiarity with ADP/Paychex, and strong attention to detail. On-site position in Delmont, PA with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting and/or payroll experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and payroll processes.
• Experience with accounting and payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or similar systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly or weekly payroll accurately and on time.
• Meet with leadership daily to review the company’s current financial position and develop a clear financial game plan.
• Maintain employee payroll records and handle payroll-related questions.
• Calculate wages, deductions, taxes, benefits, and other payroll adjustments.
• Manage accounts payable.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts.
• Monitor expenses, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records.
• Assist with payroll tax filings and other required compliance reporting.
• Work with management, employees, and vendors, as needed.
• Calculate and submit monthly sales tax.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting or payroll issues promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information.
