The Prestigious Country Club in the Louisville area is seeking an Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist to manage payroll and payables accurately and on schedule. You will protect confidentiality, maintain records, and support the accounting team in daily financial operations.

Responsibilities include processing payroll for multiple departments, reconciling vendor invoices, year-end tasks, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of payroll, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience preferred.
• Experience processing payroll in a multi-department environment strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.

Responsabilités

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule for Club employees.
• Review employee time records for completeness and accuracy prior to payroll processing.
• Coordinate with department managers regarding missing punches and payroll adjustments.
• Process new hires, terminations, and other payroll-related updates.
• Maintain accurate payroll and employee records.
• Assist with year-end payroll processes and W-2 reconciliation.
• Receive, review, code, and process vendor invoices for payment.
• Verify approvals and supporting documentation prior to payment.
• Prepare and process vendor payments according to schedules.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding invoices.
• Assist Controller with monthly and year-end accounting procedures.
• Provide payroll and AP documentation for audits and reporting requirements.
