Job summary

Stryten Energy in Manchester, IA is seeking an experienced payroll and accounts payable professional to support daily financial operations. You will process weekly payroll, manage timekeeping data, review invoices, and assist the Plant Controller with month-end close.

This role requires an associates degree, basic JD Edwards experience, and strong Excel/Word skills. You will work onsite in an office environment with occasional production floor exposure and ensure accuracy and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll, accounts payable, and office coordination.
• Associates degree; accounting knowledge; JD Edwards experience a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word required.

Responsibilities

• Process hourly payroll weekly for transmission to Corporate.
• Review UKG time system for accuracy.
• Assure proper approvals of timesheets per internal controls.
• Prepare and review payroll reports for management.
• Maintain up-to-date SOPs for payroll processing.
• Train supervisors on proper payroll procedures.
• Report discrepancies on time records for correction.
• Assist in month-end close procedures.
• Review vendor invoices and accounts payable documents.
• Assist with general clerical duties and office coordination.
