Job summary

Stryten Energy is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Manchester, IA plant. The role supports manufacturing finance by maintaining control procedures, forecasting expenses and capital, and ensuring accurate P&L and balance sheet reporting.

You will process payroll, resolve invoice issues, and perform month-end close activities while improving the control environment and asset safeguards across plant functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or foreign equivalent).
• 1+ years of professional Accounting/Finance experience in multi-location company preferred.
• ERP systems familiarity; JDE and Hyperion are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist all financial functions within the facility including purchasing, receiving, production, shipping and inventory control; validate P&L and balance sheet accuracy.
• Forecast operating expenses and capital; support resource allocation decisions.
• Process payroll times cards weekly for accuracy; review payroll data and entries.
• Review open receipts and invoice issues; resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and enter journal entries during month-end close.
• Maintain/improve control environment and policy compliance.
• Support asset safeguarding through cycle counts, physical inventories, and fixed asset controls.
• Coordinate CERs and quantify investments and returns; monitor project spending and close projects timely.
• Work with plant and divisional staff on budgeting, cost reduction, and variance analysis.
• Support document record keeping and accounting processes; drive process improvements.
• Monitor spending and report monthly/quarterly/annual results to management.
• Track overhead with Coupa/Hyperion reports to hit targets.
• Participate in month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Process weekly payrolls and payroll reporting.
