Job summary

Stryten Energy is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Manchester, IA plant leadership team. The role focuses on financial control procedures, systems, and standards to support accounting functions and provide timely insights to the Plant Manager and Controller.

Key responsibilities include forecasting operating expenses, managing capital expenditures, payroll processing, and maintaining asset controls. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success in a manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or foreign equivalent.
  • 1+ years of professional accounting/finance experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist all financial functions within the facility, validating P&L and balance sheet accuracy.
  • Assist in providing accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts of operating expenses and capital.
  • Process payroll times cards weekly for accuracy.
  • Review and resolve open receipts and invoice issues.
  • Prepare and enter journal entries during month-end close.
  • Maintain/improve current control environment and policy compliance.
  • Support safeguarding company assets through cycle counts and fixed asset controls.
  • Coordinate preparation of CERs and monitor capital project spending.
