Job summary

Mwiah is seeking a Senior Director of Payor Contracting, Practice Integration & Transition Support to lead all payor-facing contracting for newly acquired or affiliated practices. You will negotiate payor agreements, manage the integration playbook, and ensure day-one in-network readiness across multiple practices.

The role blends strategic contracting, project management, and relationship leadership with up to 20% travel, supporting a growth-focused healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years in payor contracting, managed care or provider network management.
• Direct experience negotiating commercial, Medicare Advantage and/or Medicaid MCO contracts.
• Experience supporting multi-site healthcare acquisitions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead payor contracting and negotiation for new practice acquisitions.
• Determine contracting strategy: tuck-in, pillar, or de novo from scratch.
• Analyze fee schedules and identify rate gaps and renegotiation opportunities.
• Maintain a contract library with effective dates and renewal terms.
• Partner with counsel on contract language and risk terms.
• Own the payor workstream of integration and day-one network readiness.
• Act as primary contact between new practices and internal teams on payor matters.
• Drive cross-departmental collaboration to ensure credentialing and uninterrupted access.
