Job summary

State Street is seeking a senior payments business analyst to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise end-to-end payment and settlement traceability capability. The role maps payment journeys, defines lifecycle events, and shapes the operating model while supporting anomaly detection and Swift resilience initiatives.

You will lead discovery across payment applications, create inventories and process maps, and define data requirements for UETR and status visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, data or related discipline.
• 7+ years of financial services experience with payments/settlement exposure.
• Certification in business analysis or process modelling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and analysis across payment and settlement applications and teams.
• Create inventory, end-to-end maps, event model, data lineage and ownership.
• Define requirements for URL status, alerts and evidence export.
• Specify data requirements for UETR, attributes and source systems.
• Design role-based internal/external views and data masking.
• Assess API, event-stream, MQ, logs and observability options with Tech.
• Develop user stories, test scenarios, and coordinate UAT and sign-off.
• Define ownership, SLA, escalation, and BAU governance.
