Job summary

Google's gTech Users and Products (gUP) champions trusted experiences across Google's product ecosystem and acts as the technical bridge to partners. In this role, you will help merchants, PSPs and e-commerce platforms implement Google Pay across web and mobile, troubleshoot checkout flows, and guide architectural design for end-to-end integration.

You will gather partner feedback, advocate for platform enhancements with internal teams, and create tooling to streamline onboarding and accelerate

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
3 years of experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/HTTP.
3 years coding in Java, C/C++, or Python.
Experience troubleshooting with internal/external partners or customers.
Experience using AI for workflows.

Responsibilities

Maintain Google Pay developer docs and partner resources while triaging issues.
Advise merchants, PSPs, and e-commerce platforms on architecture and end-to-end integration of Google Pay.
Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues with external engineering teams for reliable checkout.
Gather partner insights to advocate for platform enhancements and translate issues to requirements.
Create reference implementations, samples, testing guides, and onboarding tools.
