Job summary

Tampa Housing Authority is seeking a Payments and Reporting Specialist (NTHDC) to manage financial and reporting tasks for the ACC between HUD and NTHDC. The role supports TRACS/iMAX files, monthly vouchers, banking payments, and PBCA reporting under the NTHDC director and PBCA manager.

Responsibilities include creating HAP payment files, reconciling vouchers, generating PBCA invoices, and maintaining electronic records in line with HUD policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, however significant and relevant experience may also be considered.
• Experience with HUD’s Secure System TRACS/iMAX is preferred, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience performing Accounting and MIS or equivalent combinations of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor monthly HAP payment files in conjunction with the bank and software system.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, download, and upload TRACS/iMAX files from HUD’s Secure Systems.
• Assist Contract Specialist to reconcile and process monthly Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) vouchers.
• Assist in the generation of the monthly PBCA invoice and reports.
• Maintain electronic files and records retention per HUD policy.
• Use HUD systems to ensure data integrity.
