Job summary

Coserv is seeking a Payment Processing Analyst 1 to handle electronic payment files for electric and gas services and update accounts promptly. You will balance logs, process reversals, and assist with bank reconciliations, working closely with Accounting and Treasury.

The role requires 1–2 years in utility billing or AR, strong organizational and communication abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CIS software. This is an on-site position in Texas with routine safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• -1-2 years utility billing or accounts receivable experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CIS software.

Responsibilities

• Process electronic payment files from multiple banking sources.
• Post mail payments and update customer accounts the same day.
• Balance payment activity logs and process reversals/chargebacks when needed.
• Coordinate with Accounting and Treasury for reconciliations.
• Perform NISC upgrade testing in Service, Financials as needed.
• Communicate with customers as required.
• Maintain daily checklists and standard operating procedures.
