Paysend is building the future of global payments. As an Application Support Analyst, you'll help ensure our platforms run reliably and customers can send and receive money without interruption.

You will own the health of the transaction ecosystem end to end, analyzing flows and transactions, investigating incidents, coordinating responses, and communicating with partners and banks to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Experience with collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and independent issue resolution.
• Ability to multitask and manage incidents with strict SLA windows.
• Basic knowledge of SQL (Oracle SQL preferred).
• Experience with Grafana for monitoring and alerting.
• Linux, network, or cloud administration experience.
• Experience with OpenSearch is a plus.
• Comfort with API documentation (Postman) to troubleshoot integrations.
• Ability to resolve operational issues with minimal supervision.
• Advanced English language skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and administer the transaction flow using Oracle SQL, Postman, and OpenSearch.
• Maintain the business-critical payment services.
• Interact with partners about transaction flows.
• Investigate transactions flagged for manual parsing and document root-causes.
• Investigate pending payouts/funding over 3 days and escalate.
• Provide incident response and detailed reports.
• Coordinate and guide other employees resolving incidents.
• Communicate with partners and banks about issues and data discrepancies.
• Support SAR reconciliation issues and data mismatches.
• Monitor payment services for faults with Grafana and other tools.
• Coordinate, deploy, and roll back releases.
• Verify system health after each release.
• Provision monitoring and detection of problems in payment services.
• Make informed decisions based on investigation findings.
• Read and apply API documentation to troubleshoot integrations.
