• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payments initiatives.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and functional specs.
• Understand end-to-end payment lifecycle: Initiation, Validation, Clearing, Settlement, Reconciliation.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 and SWIFT messaging (MT/MX).
• Experience with payments hubs / core banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to drive requirements, solution design, and delivery across payment platforms.
• Deliver across key payments areas: Wire Payments, ACH/SEPA, RTP, and Cards/Merchant Payments.
• Document BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and process flows; perform gap analyses between current and proposed systems.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Business & Functional Analysis
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payments initiatives
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
• Conduct gap analysis between existing and proposed payment systems
• Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and functional specs
• Payments Domain Expertise
• Work across key payments areas:
• Wire Payments (SWIFT, Fedwire, CHAPS)
• ACH / SEPA
• Real-Time Payments (RTP) / Faster Payments
• Cards & Merchant Payments
• Understand end-to-end payment lifecycle:
• Initiation → Validation → Clearing → Settlement → Reconciliation

Domain Skills

• Strong experience in Payments (mandatory)
• Knowledge of:

Salary Range- $90,000-$130,000 a year
