Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Senior Programmer/Analyst with strong GCP and Java experience to develop and enhance the Enterprise Payments platform. You will build RESTful APIs, design cloud-native solutions on GCP, and ensure production stability while collaborating with global teams.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable, highly available payments systems, with Agile delivery, DevSecOps practices, and on-call support. Office-based with potential flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with 1+ year related experience or Huntington Training program.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native apps on GCP and Java (Spring/Spring Boot).
• Experience designing secure RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Experience IaC automation, preferably Terraform; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring tools to assess production health and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Develop back-end services using Java/Spring Boot; design and test RESTful APIs.
• Deliver cloud-native solutions on GCP including Cloud Functions/Cloud Run/GKE.
• Collaborate with IS Tech Specialists, architects, and analysts; follow enterprise standards.
• Support production, participate in incident/change management, on-call rotation.
• Work with offshore/onsite teams to ensure timely delivery and artifacts.
