Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking a mid-level Java Developer to join our Payments Technology team in Columbus. You will develop, enhance, and support high-volume payment origination, processing, and settlement apps with Java and microservices. Cloud experience and NoSQL skills are valued.

Responsibilities include REST API development, file processing, debugging complex production issues, and contributing to Agile delivery with documentation and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3-7+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JSON, and microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Java-based applications and microservices.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, file-processing solutions, and payment processing services.
• Troubleshoot production issues across integrations, databases, middleware, and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with analysts, testers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support on-call rotations and maintain technical documentation.
