Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst with extensive GCP and Java back-end experience. You will build secure, scalable payment solutions, develop RESTful APIs, and implement cloud-native patterns on GCP including Functions, Run, and GKE, while aligning with enterprise standards.

The role requires collaboration with IS Tech Specialists, architects, and analysts, with strong hands-on development, agile delivery, and on-call production support expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
1+ year of related experience or completion of Huntington’s Technical Youth training or apprenticeship in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

Translate business and technical requirements into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain back-end services using Java (Spring Boot) and RESTful APIs.
Deliver cloud-native solutions on GCP using serverless and container-based patterns.
Support production with on-call rotation and incident management.
Collaborate with offshore/onsite teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to guidelines.
