Job summary

IHMVCU is hiring a Payment Operations Specialist for our Moline, IL headquarters. You’ll support ACH and card operations, resolve payment discrepancies, and ensure timely processing. This role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration, and member service in a fast-paced payments environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• At least two years' experience in a financial institution, ACH or card operations preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and other banking software.

Responsibilities

• Process, monitor, balance, and resolve ACH transactions within deadlines.
• Handle ACH disputes, returns, stop payments, and related research requests.
• Maintain debit/credit card services including account updates and changes.
• Review Remote Deposit Capture transactions and assess potential fraud.
• Establish and maintain ACH, wire, Treasury, and Business Online Banking for business members.
• Research payment questions and provide timely follow-up to members and team.
• Process mail payments and support daily ops for credit lines.
• Maintain departmental procedures and suggest improvements for efficiency and controls.
