Atlantic is seeking a Payments Specialist I to join our Operations team. You will support payment services used by members, ensuring accurate, efficient, and secure processing.

This role involves handling inquiries across multiple channels, maintaining payment systems, and contributing to process improvements. Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in financial services or related fields, a high school diploma or GED, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in financial services, operations, payment processing or administrative roles.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn payment platforms.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Process payment-related services including troubleshooting, transfers, EFT originations, disputes and fraud monitoring.
• Maintain and update payment systems and services including account setup and access changes.
• Assist members and employees with payment inquiries via phone, email, chat, text and other channels.
• Research and resolve issues following policies and procedures.
• Conduct quality reviews of payment transactions and documentation to ensure accuracy.
