Job summary

Beyond Finance is seeking an office-savvy Payment Operations Associate to support the Business Operations team. You will help settle debts by coordinating with creditors, agencies, and our payment processor, while maintaining meticulous records in Salesforce and other systems.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Outlook; ability to learn our systems.
• Outstanding interpersonal, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, prompt, and reliable.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Quality customer relations skills and phone etiquette.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to cooperate with various work styles and management levels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily settlement pipeline and exception reporting for payment setup and clearing.
• Communicate with creditors and agencies by phone and email to clear payment exceptions.
• Assist in gathering documentation required to remit payments.
• Request proof of payment from collection agencies and creditors.
• Monitor funds in the banking ledger to schedule remittance and ensure balances.
• Support departmental functions and respond to inquiries and requests.
• Scan documents and attach to client accounts in Salesforce.
• Multitask with attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Assist with proofreading, word processing, and correspondence.
