Tabs Pay serves North American B2B merchants with ACH-first payments and growing card share. We are hiring a Payments Operations Manager to handle day-to-day PayOps, manage exceptions, and support scaling as Tabs Pay launches and expands.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in payments operations, reconciliation, disputes, or merchant ops.
• Proven ability to execute payments workflows with accuracy in high-stakes environments.
• Ability to follow defined processes and identify practical improvements.
• Strong collaboration with finance, support, product, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Process merchant exceptions, holds, reserve adjustments, and merchant activation per policies.
• Execute reconciliation across processor, bank, ledger, and merchant records and investigate breaks.
• Manage dispute and chargeback workflow, collecting evidence and tracking deadlines.
• Process ACH returns and negative-balance events per documented timelines.
• Investigate merchant-reported issues and escalate when appropriate.
• Monitor merchant activity against policy thresholds and flag reviews.
• Keep runbooks, decision trees, and logs current for the team.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to leadership.
• Track KPIs and report PayOps status and performance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Support, and commercial teams for changes and tooling.
